Abstract
결론
저자는 3세부터 14세까지의 남녀 1200명을 대상으로 하여 파노라마 방사선사진상에서 치
아의 석회화 정도를 평가한 결과 다음과 같은 결론을 얻었다.
1. 영구치의 석회화가 과거보다 빨라졌다.
2. 여성이 남성보다, 그리고 하악치아가 상악치아보다 다소 빠른 경향을 보였다.
3. 영구치의 석회화 순서는 제 1 대구치, 중절치, 측절치, 견치, 제 1 소구치, 제 2 소구치,
제 2 대구치의 순을 나타냈다.

In order to study the stages of calcification on crown and roots using panoramic
radiographs, 1200 of children between the ages of 3 to 12 with normal growing tendency
and no orthodontic treatment experience were chosen among the patients who have
visited Yonsei Dental University and who live in Seoul and Kang-Won-Do.
Panoramic radiographs were taken by ordinary method and stages of calcification were
divided into 13 stages. Radiographs were evaluated according to sect, left and right
sides and also maxilla and mandible.
The results of this study were as follows:
1. The calcification of permanent teeth is faster than the past.
2. The calcification of permanent teeth tends to be faster in female than male and
also for mandible than maxilla.
3. The sequence of permanent teeth calcification is in order of first molar, central
incisor, lateral incisor, canine, first premolar, second premolar, and second molar.
